Mobile games are getting a lot of hate, understandly so, because they are riddled with anti-consumer practices, intentionally and carefully placed hurdles to make the user more likely to spend. Which could be reasonable if there was a ceiling, say at the price of a console game but as we know, there isn't. Instead, "whales" as they are called can spend 5-6 digits into one title creating a huge gap between the f2p and moderately paying customers. Why this long intro? Well, despite these practices, some games are legitimately fun, high quality and overall quite worth playing. This game is exactly that. Sure, it follows the mobile "bite-sized" format but that doesn't make the game is any less fun and engaging. But at least now, the reward is based off of time spent, not your wallet! Worth a download and in my opinion, worth giving it some hours to really get into the game and see if you'd like to stay longer. This version isn’t quite as finished as the version that was shut down a year ago, but it’s had all its microtransactions removed, leaving a lot of things to do that would normally be stretched out by limits like a pay-to-recharge stamina bar. Definitely worth downloading, it’s a ton of fun as it is and I look forward to seeing this game updated with more content!

It’s like a pay to win game but on Apple Arcade lol….Pathetic! There’s way too many things going on for a simple Castlevania game. This ain’t symphony of the night or aria of sorrow. Controls aren’t good.
