Description
Nurture a small pot of succulents that grow in real time. Viridi is a safe haven, a place you can return to for a moment of peace and quiet whenever, and wherever you need it. While not fully realistic (they're very forgiving), your succulents will require some maintenance and can die from over- or under-watering. Name your favorite plants, give them special care and attention, and they might even flower for you. Viridi is free to try and comes with your choice of plant assortment. If you think it has a place in your life, you can buy your favorite plants from the in-game nursery for just a few cents a piece. Remember to visit the nursery occasionally for your weekly free seeding! -- "Designed to be the ideal happy place game ... Viridi is a primer, a simulation, and a love letter to this branch of botany, all rolled into one" - Fast Company "Yes, you do need an ultra-zen video game about growing succulents ... tending to these digital plants offers a seriously calming experience" - The Huffington Post "The most chilled out and peaceful game I've ever seen" - Upworthy "In addition to learning about real-life varieties of succulents, what you are learning when you play games of this type is how to create a quiet, mindful moment in your day using unusual tools" - National Geographic

I really like the game so far! It is super relaxing and the music is rather calming. Viridi is wonderful as a relaxation game to me, because unlike other “idle” games, it is not a chore. I like how Viridi is a calming game that lives on its purpose: It does not add stress to your brain by requiring you to collect, gain, or complete something. You can just sit and relax. Never have I played a relaxing game that does not involve gaining in-game money to upgrade, or do tasks that would have made the game a “chore!” However, I do want to add some suggestions. I am aware that Viridi is only a young game, so I get that there are microtransactions. However, I would like a couple more ways to get succulents for free, maybe by watching ads by choice or gaining free succulents a little more frequently. Additionally, maybe there should be more active pots, despite the fact players can get one for $5. No need to add too many pots, but I would like a second pot to create yet another relaxing scene...

Don't listen to all those one-star reviews, Viridi is truly a great game! I love the graphics, the music, and how you get a free seedling every week! There's also a very pretty variety of different succulents you can obtain too! I let out a little chuckle when I tapped on the snail, hit the spray button, and the text at the bottom that normally says "Wow Cute" described the snail being wet Lol. I also like how the succulents actually grow in real time too! And besides, even if you don't like the game, it's free, so you don't waste any money on it. I even showed this game to my mom and she then proceeded to download it as well, and now once in a while we'll show each other our succulents if we want to! Plus, I grow succulents irl too, so that kinda boosts my appreciation for this game! Overall, it's a wonderful and relaxing game, and I recommend it to anyone who needs some relaxation, and/or wants to take care of some plants. Edit: Please fix the bug where you lose progress in the gam...
